Notice of Infringement
To file a DMCA notice with us, you must provide the following information in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed upon.
- A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Site, with enough detail that we may find it.
- Your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement by you that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
How to Submit a DMCA Notice
Please send your DMCA notice via our Contact page. Include “DMCA Notice” in the subject line.
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content within a reasonable timeframe and notify the content provider of the takedown.
Counter-Notice
If you believe that content you posted was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
Repeat Infringers
SoftDrop will terminate the accounts of repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances. We take intellectual property rights seriously and cooperate with rights holders to protect their content.
